Is it really a Clean and Green India ?

A clean and green India is every Indian's dream, isn't it? Haven't we all thought about our neighborhood being clean and hygienic at some point in time?

When these scenarios seemed absurd and impractical, our government introduced and implemented some very successful schemes like clean India mission, etc. I feel that it wont be long before our unfeasible imaginations turn to reality !

Here I want to share my thoughts about the topic via a poem... 

Isn’t it great that I live in India?
 
India! Where rivers are grey;
Polluted air starts the day;
Where people openly defecate;
At the corner of the street
The garbage decay,
Oh! What a dismay!
 
Hey, what are you saying?
I live in India, here situation has changed
Gone are the days,
Where people contaminate
Increasing awareness in people’s mind,
Changing the world’s insight
 India is ready to shine!
 
This is my India,
Where streets are clean;
In the bin, garbage is seen;
Our environment increasing green;
Thanks to the govt scheme!
Public washrooms in every place,
Hygienic surroundings – every mind says.
 
India becoming the world’s leader,
Using Renewable energy to shape our future,
Achieving its target before the deadline,
Setting example and vision redefined.
Positioned at 4^th largest wind power capacity,
Bringing the dreams of nation in reality
Exploiting the power of solar light;
Marching towards India’s future bright!
 
Clean India dream our PM had,
Let’s make it a reality, hand in hand!
